FTC / Royal Family KIDS Camps and Mentoring’s mission is to mobilize the local Church to create life-changing moments for children who have experienced relational trauma.
We are motivated by the example Christ set, sharing the goal of caring for those Jesus referred to as, “the least of these.”
In 2022, Coastline Community Church established a FTC chapter to offer a RFK Mentor Club for children in Brevard County. Coastline’s Royal Family KIDS ministry mission is to show love to children who have experienced family trauma. We are wrapping our arms around both “Children in Care” and “Kinship Care” who have Family Partnerships of Central Brevard, as well as children from families who are participating in a Family Preservation Prevention Program.
Royal Family KIDS Mentoring:
In order to help a child recover from abuse and neglect, intervention must go both deep and wide. Dependable, monthly contact with the same safe adults is vital. RFC Mentoring Club includes skill mastery, character building, and fun—plus individualized attention from trained adult mentors who are effective role models. Mentoring Club uses a Bible-based curriculum to help children heal from relational trauma.
Working with Family Partnerships of Central Florida, we welcomed twelve kids from hard places during our first year of RFK mentoring club. Last year, our Club grew, and in 2024-2025, we will welcome back kids for our third year of mentoring. Coastline’s Royal Family Kids Mentoring Club serves children from 6-12 years of age at no charge to participating families. Each kid is paired with a trained mentor who, along with support staff, shares three nurturing hours filled with laughter, singing, learning, lunch, and fun activities each month. If you know a child who could benefit from this, you can sign them up here!

Royal Family KIDS Camp
RFKC compliments RFK Mentor Club to foster resiliency, self-esteem, hope and positive memories. The camp curriculum and activities are woven through the modality of Trust-Based Relational Intervention to ensure our children are experiencing truly life-giving activities throughout the five-day experience.
In June 2024, CCC and ninety-six volunteers hosted our first Royal Family Kids Camp for kids ages 7-11. We welcomed thirty-one kids to this all expense paid, four-night, five-day camp where kids experienced the love of God and the volunteers who served them with the goal of showing them Biblical truth of Psalm 139:14: “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
RFKC creates a family-like atmosphere with trusted adults for kids to learn about God, worship together, have delicious food, make new friends, participate in activities with a camp “Buddy," and be treated royally.
